At Funhouse, we believe that a tattoo isn’t complete until it’s fully healed. Taking care of your new piece is nearly as important as the design itself. This does require active participation on your end to make sure it heals properly. Visit our Tattoo AfterCare page to get step by step recommendations on how to care for your new tattoo. We also offer in-shop aftercare sessions with our artists that will ensure the best healing process at an affordable price. We also carry industry-leading aftercare and healing products that you can purchase and take home with you.

We are located in Pacific Beach on the palm tree lined street of Garnet at 1453 Garnet Avenue, San Diego, CA 92109. Come check us out!

Free 12-hour parking is available on Hornblend St, Felspar St, Haines St, and Fanuel St and are all about one block from the shop. Parking is available on Garnet (which is the street we are located on) but is limited to 2-hour parking.

We pride ourselves on picking the artist that’s best, not just who’s next. To do this we recommend that you contact us in advance before your visit. This gives us the chance to pick from our 9 world-class artists and select one with a style and specialty that’s right for you.

Yes, you can! We use the latest technology to design a piece that will fit the pattern of your old tattoo and create a new work of art that you can be proud of. Please contact us to discuss your coverup ideas free of charge.

Since Funhouse Tattoo is a licensed tattoo facility in the state of California, you are able to donate blood around two weeks after getting your new tattoo. Read our blog on donating blood with a tattoo for more info.
