Slaine
Born and raised in South Africa, Slaine learnt to draw and loved making art from a early age and always wanted to pursue a career in art as long as he can remember.
After moving to America in his later years and seeking out an apprenticeship in tattooing, he moved to San Diego and began his career as a tattoo artist. With a love for art, being by the ocean and surfing and skating, San Diego became a permanent home for him and he never looked back.
Being a big fan of comic books, sci-fi, fantasy and horror Slaine especially loves taking on projects that involve dark, trippy and interesting characters, creatures, and concepts in all shapes and sizes, but is open to all ideas and projects.
He enjoys creating colorful and bold traditional and neo-traditional tattoos as well as illustrative and black and grey work. Ideas for all kinds of projects are welcome.
