About Coy

Coy tattoos American traditional the way it was meant to be worn: heavy outlines, flat colour that holds for decades, and the classic subjects drawn his own way, panthers, daggers, roses, swallows and a few crying babies. He paints his own flash sheets, and most of what he puts on skin starts as one of those paintings.

He works from his flash and from your idea. Traditional is his focus, with Japanese, fine line, Chicano black and grey, lettering and freehand work welcome. Walk in and pick a piece off the wall, or book a consultation for something drawn for you. Coy works at Funhouse Tattoo.

A red and yellow horned devil tattoo bares white fangs.
A grey-shaded spiderweb around a toothy open mouth with a gold tooth covers the top of a shaved head.A grinning cartoon wolf tattoo with a long red tongue smokes a cigarette, in red, orange and blue color.
